Dear Miss U,
I met this guy on the internet because we had things in common and I wanted to send him a message. The first thing I did was trying to know if he was a f***** psycho or not. He isn’t. So… We’ve been talking for a few weeks, and we have so much in common. We think the same way and we both go really fast if there’s feeling. I like him and he likes me. I want to take the next step, but he doesn’t because maybe we won’t see each other until next year due to exams and family problems… [read more]
After Infidelity
Dear Miss U,
I’ve been in a LDR for almost 4 years. We’ve been madly in love and everything was fine till the day he cheated on me. When I learned about it, I wanted to break up with him, but he begged me not to do so and said that it was a mistake because he was drunk and he reassured me that he’ll change for the better… [read more]
A Matter of Opinion
Dear Miss U,
I’ve been questioning my relationship lately as it is still very new. We started dating just a few weeks ago and clicked so quickly and with so much intensity that it’s still scary to think about! I am in love with him and I’m planning a trip in two months to go see him but I keep having these nagging doubts in my brain. Is this right? Should I be doing this? Do I really love him? Will he still love me when he sees me? [read more]
A Pinch of TLC
Dear Miss U,
My boyfriend is amazing, and we’ve been in an LDR for a little while now. I think it hits me a lot harder than it hits him. I experience major depression, especially after visits. And generally need a bit more attention than he does. Which is fine, but I think this results in me wanting to do more LDR-like activities. Like letter writing, planning out things together via lists, sweet emails, watching TV together, just things like that. They make me feel closer to him, but that’s because for me, I’m feeling pretty down and have that need to feel closer to him than he does to me I believe… [read more]
Now or Never
Dear Miss U,
I am from Romania and I have been dating a guy from the USA for more than 3 years. Every time we were together everything was perfect and we were very happy together. But when we were separated we were very sad and lonely. We are both divorced, he has 3 daughters of which the youngest is 21. I have 2 boys of 10 and 14 years old. He said at the beginning that we need time to get to know each other better and grow our relationship, then after a year, he told me he needs to know if he gets along with my boys, then after 2 years we still have to grow our relationship and so on. It has been already more than 3 years… [read more]
Trust Me On This
Dear Miss U,
Me and this girl have been in a relationship for over 2 years and we both have done some stupid stuff but have always got through it. I left for basic training Sept 27th 2016 and 3 months before we both had sex with other people on the exact same day. She ended up telling me when she was drunk and I never told her because I didn’t think it would work at this point. We both decided that we were going to make this work and have a LDR so I went to boot camp. During basic training she wrote me a letter asking me if I had ever cheated on her without her knowing… [read more]
Don’t Be Afraid To Fail
Dear Miss U,

Fireworks & Shooting Stars
Dear Miss U,
My boyfriend and I recently decided to take a break because he wasn’t happy anymore. He says he isn’t himself. He would always be upset with me and get mad. We argued a lot because of this. Well we took our break for about 5 hours before we got back together cause well we love each other it is hard to stay away, then we broke up again about two hours later. Should we just break up so he doesn’t feel tied down anymore? [read more]
All Things Uncertain
Dear Miss U,
My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and 6 months now, and most of it has been long distance. I live in the UK and he lives in America. I’ve tried to move there before but things didn’t work out for me, so I was hoping he’d consider moving here, just at least consider it. However, he recently told me out of the blue that he’s already planned to go to a different city in America to pursue his dreams and nothing about him visiting me or even looking for a job here… [read more]
Keep It Civil
Dear Miss U,
He used to call and send me video messages. Now it’s reduced to just texting via Facebook, WhatsApp and Viber. He promised to come visit in December last year. He did not push through. Promised to visit in March, did not push through. Now I am visiting him in the USA. He seems too busy to plan anything. He said we’d be together for two weeks. Now it’s down to just 6 days. I don’t understand. Is our love ending? I am seriously hurting… [read more]
