Vernon was going through his stuff and came across this letter I wrote him. I totally forgot I wrote it until he started reading it to me. I wrote it in 2001 an hour before we met in person for the first time. 1 1/2 years after we met on the internet, he was 31 and I was 30. (wow, feels like 100 years ago!) I wrote it on the hotel stationery where I was staying in Chicago.
